Ju Gu (Li 16) or “Great Bone” Acupuncture point – Large Intestine Meridian

Localization of point:

In a hole formed by the juncture of the clavicle, humerus and scapula.

Diseases:

  • gonvulsions in children
  • toothache
  • gastrorrhagia
  • brachial neuralgia and paralysis
  • insufficient mobility of the humeral joint
  • incapability of flexing the elbow

Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment:

  • Acupuncture: 4 – 7 fens ( 1,33 cm – 2,33 cm or 0,52 in – 0,92 in)
  • Moxibustion: 5 – 20 minutes; 7 – 15 zhuangs (moxa cones)
