Wen Liu (Li 7) or “Warm Dwelling” Acupuncture point – Large Intestine Meridian

Localization of point:

On the radial side in the middle of the forearm, i.e. 5 cuns (16,67 cm or 6,56 in) above the juncture of the radius and the carpus.

Diseases:

  • borborygmus
  • spasms in the lower abdomen
  • glossitis
  • stomatitis
  • carbuncle
  • parotitis
  • tonsillitis
  • antebrachial neuralgia

Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment:

  • Acupuncture: 3 – 5 fens (1 cm – 1,67 cm or 0,4 in – 0,66 in)
  • Moxibustion: 30 minutes; 3 – 7 zhuangs (moxa cones)
