Wu li (Li 13) or “Arm Five Li” Acupuncture point – Large Intestine Meridian

Localization of point:

On the external side of the upper arm, the lateral border of the triceps brachii muscle, 3 cuns above the elbow.

Diseases:

  • pneumonia
  • peritonitis
  • cough
  • rheumatism
  • adenitis
  • antebrachial neuralgia
  • insufficient mobility of the four extremities
  • somnolence
  • tuberculous lyphadenitis
  • phobia

Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment:

  • Acupuncture: Forbidden
  • Moxibustion: 5- 20 minutes; 7 – 15 zhuangs (moxa cones)
