TIAN FU (L3) or “Celestial Storehouse” Acupuncture point – Lung Meridian

Localization of point:

On the inner side of the upper arm, 3 cuns (9,9 cm or 3,9 in) distally from the axilla or 5 cuns (16,6 cm or 6,56 in) proximally from the antecubital fossa, near to the inner portion of the biceps brachii muscle.

Diseases:

  • cerebral congestion
  • pneumorrhagia
  • epistaxis
  • vomiting
  • bronchitis
  • dizziness
  • mental diseases
  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • cervicobrachial neuralgia
  • intermittent fever
  • carbon monixide poisoning
  • rheumatism

Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment:

  • Acupuncture: 3-5 fens (0,9 cm – 1,66 cm or 0,4 in – 0,656 in)
  • Moxibustion: 5 minutes (according to Jiayijing forbidden, while according to Qian Jin Yaofang allowed.)
